After growing up in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Boris Karachun went on to CUNY Hunter College and completed a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He received a full scholarship for his studies and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While studying in undergrad, Dr. Karachun volunteered at many dental offices and participated in numerous outreaches for his community, realizing that he enjoyed dentistry and helping others.
He then went on to attend the NYU College of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree. While in dental school, Dr. Karachun continued to give back to the community by doing outreaches to elementary schools and shelters in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Dr. Karachun is passionate about dentistry and always tries to learn more about the field by completing numerous hours of continued education. He believes in holistic dentistry, where oral health is a major component of total bodily health. With his significant experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Karachun is ready to help you achieve your dental health goals.
When not at work, Dr. Karachun enjoys reading and doing outdoor activities with his wife.
